Blue Point of Service* uses the HMO Louisiana HMO/POS network, a smaller network of quality doctors and hospitals throughout the state. It has several copayment, coinsurance and deductible plan options to meet your needs.

Here are some plan features and benefits:

  • Four-tier copayment and coinsurance structure, three-tier copayment and coinsurance structure or a two-tier coinsurance structure for prescription drugs, depending on the plan you buy.

  • Drug deductibles range from $0-500, depending on the plan you buy. If there is no separate drug deductible, medical deductible applies.

  • We pay 100 percent of preventive care services in network.

  • For pediatric dental and vision, $0 for diagnostic and preventive dental and routine eye exams and hardware when received from a network doctor.

  • NEW! Health Savings Account (HSA)-eligible plan options available**. Click here to learn more about HSA.

  • Certain plans are not available in all parishes:
    • Plan Blue POS 90/70 $9,900 with 2 $0 PCP Virtual Visits HSA Eligible is unavailable in following parishes: Ascension, Caldwell, East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, Livingston, Morehouse, Orleans, Ouachita, Richland, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Union, and West Baton Rouge
    • Plan Blue POS 70/50 $3,500 with 2 $0 PCP Virtual Visits is unavailable in following parishes: Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, Livingston, Orleans, St. Bernard, St. Tammany and West Baton Rouge
